Kosovo railway rehabilitation engineers' employment, Belgrade-based company decides

The Security General and Modernisation of the 10th Iron Line in Kosovo will be realised in three phases: Stage 1: Kosovo Fush Han i Elezi border with Northern Macedonia; Stage 2: Kosovo Fushë Mitrovica and phase 3: Mitrovica ʹ Leshak border with Serbia.

The selection of the supervisory company for the second phase of the 10th Railway Line (Kosovo Lake Mitrovica) is made by Infrakos. The winner had emerged from the German company DB Engineering & Consulting. This company has announced competitions for deputy engineer for the rehabilitation and improvement of the Iron Department: Kosovo Fush Mitrovica, 34.4km from the 10th Iron Line in Kosovo (termination of project 15 months).

As seen on the site of this company, its operating branch is located in Belgrade, Serbia, while there are no branches located in Kosovo.

Consequently, the office of this company in the Serbian capital will decide on staff employment.

Given the announced competition, the candidate must have at least 20 years of general professional experience and at least 15 years of professional experience in railway sector: consultancy, operation, maintenance, supervision, construction, or similar ones.

At least 10 years of professional experience in construction/restruction with professional experience in overseeing railway construction of at least 3 railway projects (applicable only with regular railway lines) in Balkan regions, for example. Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey.

It is known that the Security General and Modernisation Project of the 10th Iron Line is in advance and will take place in three phases:

Stage 1: Kosovo Fush Han i Elezi border with Northern Macedonia 66.62km;

Stage 2: Kosovo Fushë Kosova Mitrovica ♫ 34,369km. i n

Mitrovica 3: Leshak border with Serbia 48.119km.

The value of the project is 1,000.00 euros, while the company's assessment is made by the commission founded by the Chief Executive Chief, who after having carried out the assessment of all bids is set to have the winning company declared “O BENMEYER HEELALS Ltd”

In December 2022, the work of the second phase of rehabilitation of Kosovo-Mitrovica Railway Line had begun.

At the opening ceremony for the work of the second phase for rehabilitation of the 10th Kosovo-Mitrovica Railway Line, Prime Minister Albin Kurti had said that rehabilitation of this railway precedes economic development, as well as serves Kosovo's best connection with the region and Europe. /Periscopi/
