The century-long effort, the sacrifice and unbroken struggle of the Albanian people for freedom, democracy and equality -- for Kosovo independent state, the aspirations supported by NATO's friends and strategic partners -- was crowned with the 78-day campaign of air attacks on the fascist regime of Belgrade”, Camberi has written.
Kamberi has said that we won the war with NATO, while we are still “in an attempt to carry out President Clinton's order that “Peace be won by” itself.
The “not even 24 years after the expulsion from Kosovo, in Belgrade has changed the nationalism for Kosovo, nor colonial aspirations that Kosovo is Serbian soil. Official policy and general mood are still being fed by medieval myths, denoting the total lack of political realism”, the only Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament has said.
On the other hand, he has indicated that in such situations the role of Western strategic partners and NATO friends is imposed irreplaceable to define Kosovo's future.
