Former Director General of Klan Kosova, Adriatic Kelmendi, has indicated that a joint table of key media and foreign embassies in Kosovo has been held today.
The agreement has been reached from this table to start with a campaign to protect the power-free media.
Today we have a victory battle, but we know that media struggle for free speech is permanent! This has brought us together, as free journalists and free media, to increase our vigilance so that freedom does not slip from our hands. This was also the goal of a joint table today of the majority of major media in the country and embassy representatives, in which joint decisions were made, with concrete protest steps, to launch the campaign to protect the media from power”, Kelmendi wrote.
The campaign, which will have the logo, clear target and concrete actions, has indicated that it will begin Monday.
“We call on all media that engage for free media and democracy in Kosovo to join us. That, as always reminds us, the Washington Post... ”, Kelmendi continued.
“Thank you for your support.”
