Failed to read deliberately: Time when ATK has exposed Kurti for 24 thousand employees in Kosovo

This has generally come from the lack of co-ordination of institutions such as the Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK), the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) and the Kosovo Central Bank (BQK). We have often seen different statistics about the same sector from these three institutions.
In not a few cases, these institutions have also been used politically, serving the demands of the ruling parties.
Unreading statistics have also been done by current power, especially in one case during pandemic.
Prime Minister Kurti as well as Minister Murati had declared about 25 thousand employees for a year (September 2020-September 2021). None of them had suggested that this number of employees was due to the process of formalising, reform launched by the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK).
The Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) through a Facebook announcement in October 2021 had clarified that these 24 thousand employees -- most of them coming from the process of formalisation.
The report said that most of them are workers who have been working but who have not been part of the system.
“bed with September last year results in more than 24 thousand workers (a considerable part is the result of formalised employees)”, said the ATK clarification.
