The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Violet von Cromon, has reacted after yesterday the Kosovo Government, among other things, made a preliminary decision to expropriate real estate in Leposaviq and Zubin Potok.
According to her, this executive decision is unacceptable, Paparac reports.
It also, through a conference in the European Parliament, showed when it will come to Kosovo, it will go north to talk with residents in that area about this decision
“We are aware of this and it is absolutely unacceptable, there is a reason why when I go to Kosovo I will even go north to talk to citizens and explore more about it and then face Government in Pristina with the” situation, she said.
Similarly, von Croamon says the situation in northern Kosovo is fragial and is not in the EU's interest to have more tension.
This is one of my main concerns at the moment because we see that stability in the north, if we can call it that, is very fragial. It cannot be in our interest to have more fire in this process. We'll definitely deal with this”.
