According to the Special Prosecutor, evidence has been provided against indictees D.R., where, as a member of Serbia's military reserve forces, in the time of the Kosovo war, contrary to the rules of international humanitarian law, with the use of violence and inhumane acts, it has committed sexual violation against a woman of Albanian nationalism, who has suffered physical injuries and permanent psychiatric trauma.
With these actions, accused D.R. has committed criminal work against the civilian population by Article 142 of Yugoslavia's Penal Code, currently incriminated as the Crime Against Humanity by Article 143 paragraph 1 under paragraph 1.7 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code”, the report said.
In addition, it becomes known that the Special Prosecutor has proposed that the trial be held in absentia after all efforts to locate the accused have been exhausted.
