The sixth witness from SPS has started giving his testimony from yesterday's afternoon. Part of the testimony of the sixth witness was heard mainly at the closed hearing for the public as a measure for protecting the latter.
While, at yesterday's trial hearing against Thaci and others, he finished his testimony and finished the fifth SPS witness.
The first four witnesses in the trial against the former president, Hashim Thaci, former mayors, Jakup Krasniqi and Kadri Veselini, and former deputet, Rexhep Selimi gave their testimony in closed hearings for the public.
Former KLA leaders, for whom the prosecution claims to have committed war crimes, are being tried following a preliminary procedure that has lasted more than two years.
During all this time, former President Thaci, former Prime Minister Krasniqi and Veselini, as well as former delegation Selimi, are staying in custody in The Hague, while in their appearances before the tribunal they are declared innocent.
