After reporting on the case, imam wife Drilon Gashi comes out with a clarification: It was a fight!

Teuta Mahmutaj-Gashi clarified public opinion, saying years ago they had a family fight but that everything was solved.

A few years ago, my husband was sentenced to judicial remarks after a fight we had in our family. Since then, we as a family have worked hard to live a happy life and rebuild our 48x1> relationship, she wrote.

Mahmutaj-Gashi is claiming that publishing this news was a deliberate assembly for revenge.

Hail honourable,

I am writing today about a personal situation that appeared in public in the last few days and which has caused my family and I to suffer a lot.

I'm not going into full detail, but before you hear any other opinions or opinions, I want to tell you what really happened.

A few years ago, my husband was sentenced to judicial remarks after a family quarrel. Since then, we as a family have worked hard to live a happy life and rebuild our relationship.

The news of his act became viral and was used by his opponents to strike at us and our image. The media misused this situation for their special interests and for getting clicks.

My husband Drilon is currently involved in two court indictments currently being considered at the Pec Court, one against his exclusion from BIC and the other with Enes Goga.

The man who had made that decision by the court and who had published it first and repeated it over and over again on his portal “The Peja on the Focus” is Valdrin Daci, surprisingly a journalist also from Peja, who thinks he is a devout believer.

Therefore, this suspicious scenario is not designed for the protection of public interest, neither for women's rights nor for reports of domestic violence, but I consider that all this fuss is a deliberate assembly and a personal issue for revenge. I personally the person in question and the newspapers who received this news from him will face trial for violating privacy and serious damage to personal integrity.

Then, five years ago, during the trial, my husband accepted some facts that never really happened, but he did so to quickly complete the situation and restore our relationship. We didn't even have a lawyer back then, and the words that were written in the record were not even interested in us later.

We have not been interested in publishing this story, and this has greatly damaged us as family, our children, our parents and me as individuals.

The media treatment of this private and personal situation has been very painful for us.

Some commentators also took care of my headscarf. I don't ask you how I dress or my husband what I'm going to put in my head.

I'm the master of my own self, and I'm not asking for any kind of public opinion now, but I want you to know that the version that's been published isn't complete and doesn't match the complete truth.

My family and I have worked hard to rebuild our lives and our relationship, and these efforts have borne fruit. We're a happy family of four wonderful children and have a good life.
