Police officials go back to work

The four police officials at the Lipjan Police Station, who have been suspended from work in connection with Hamide Magasi's murder case, have returned to their jobs. The news has confirmed it for the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK), through a written response said to have announced [the] General Director.
The news has confirmed to the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK), through a written response reportedly reporting to Kosovo Police Director General that the causes of suspension of these police officials have ceased.
The same have been suspended on payment in December last year, under the suspicion that they committed criminal work “
“Referring to your request, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate confirms that it has investigated the criminal case against four Lipjan Police Station police officers in doubt that they have carried out the same criminal work... the use of official position or authority... and that the payment suspension of” has been recommended, said the IPK's response to Telegrafi.
After collecting the evidence, the IPK has indicated that in consultation with Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor's Prosecutor's Prosecutor's Office, it has raised criminal speculation against three suspects (a sergeant and two operations of the Lipjan Police Station for criminal work ... the use of official position or authority, while towards the commander of the Police-Lipjan station has applied for the initiative of disciplinary procedure at the Directorate for Internal Investigation and Verifiation of the Past -The Kosovo police.
After completing the investigative actions, handing over criminal outcry to the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina and calling for disciplinary investigation into the KPC, the IPK has announced that the causes of suspension of the four police station officials in Lipjan have fired”, the IPO's response reported further.
Hamide Magashi was killed on the evening of November 30th last year by her husband, Sokol Halili, in the courtyard of the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo.
Halili was on the run for a few days and then killed himself in his home.
So 35-year-old had been on a road to protection from September 13th, 2022 to March 13th 2023, following the request the victim himself had submitted on September 8th and for his implementation had been in charge of the Police Station in Shpe and Lipjan.
Four police officials from the Lipjan Police Station were suspended over these investigative actions.
