Petkovi says forming association does not depend on Kurti

Serbia's chief negotiator in dialogue with Kosovo, Petar Petkovovic, said Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti “is unable to allow or allow something to” when it comes to the Association of Serb majority municipalities, adding that the way this co-ordination is defined through Brussels' agreements in 2013 [...]
“There is no room for referees”, Petkovic said, reacting to Kurti's recent statements regarding association in an interview for the Croatian agency Hina, in which Kosovo's prime minister declared that, given Brussels' insistence, he would be happy to see what kind of draft the Manager has prepared.
Petkov said in the statement that Kurti “either has not read the documents signed in Brussels or makes it as if he does not understand what is written in them”, Serbian media reports.
“Kurti has no basis for dealing with his arbitrary wishes and views on this issue is to implement what is signed, provided he first learns what the agreements are called, when signed and what they say”, Petkovic stressed.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti will meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq tomorrow. The draft of the Association statute will be presented for the first time.
