Nagip Krasniqi's lawyer: He has not met Martin Berisha or communicated anything with him

“Nagip Krasniqi there is nothing to hide”, he said in Frontal in T7.

Nagip Krasniqi was arrested on April 19th on the orders of the Special Prosecutor under suspicion of abuse of position, influence exercise and conflict of interest. A special unit of investigations had raided that office and two residences in Pristina.

Krasniqi's name has also been coveted in the money laundering scandal, part of which became Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia, Martin Berishaj, a scandal involving millions of euros of transactions in banks and hundreds of thousands of carrying CHAcas] between Kosovo, Montenegro and Slovenia.

The special prosecutor had initially launched a preliminary investigation into non-decipherment or false property statements, while Krasniqi was later reportedly involved in police investigators' reports.

Nagip Krasniqi was said to have realised a visit to Croatia in March last year, where Berisha serves as Kosovo's ambassador. Police investigators, according to reports, suspected the two had met there.
