In five months, accused of killing Marigon will return to court

The trial of the macabre murder of Marigon Osman has been interrupted for about five months.
The process, after all this time, is expected to begin early next month. This several-month delay was caused by psychiatric examination that took place in the main defendants for the murder, Dardan Krivashadis.

The report, conducted at the Forenzie Psychiatric Psychiatry Institute, under which the defendant's mental and mental state has been in order, will also be presented at future hearings expected to be held at the Ferizaj Foundation Court, since the Court of Justice already accepted this report.

“announced that the trial hearing against top suspects was scheduled on June 1st 2023, originally at 10:00, which will be held at the facility of the Foundation Court in Ferizaj. In the meantime, in terms of additional answers, I inform you that the expert report in the case has been accepted in the judge's office, and the judicial examination is in the phase of presentation of material evidence, and as such any other answer to the case depends on the course of the ongoing review”, the Foundation Court in Ferizaj reports.

Krivasa's lawyer has said he cannot be promoted to the media, since the same one has no authorisation, because he is only assigned according to official duty, until the implementation of this eclipse from the beginning had been opposed to the victim's family.

They had claimed that the court should not approve of such a thing, because they thought it was only to justify the same.

From the Kosovo Institute for Justice, they say that before such a thing is approved, the assessment should be made if such evidence is relevant, and that the court should neither allow such a right to be misused.

Gzim Shala, a researcher from the IKD, has said that <x0-Codi Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, has determined that if at the time of the commission of criminal work the person has been in substantial reduced responsibility, he has been prosecuted responsible, but the sentence will be eased. For this reason, in any case, defense can claim that a certain person at the time of the commission of a criminal offense has been in essence reduced or without responsibility at all, and in each case should be assessed if such evidence is relevant or not”.

Except for Dardan Krevaqas, for violating until the death of 18-year-old Ferizaj, in August 2021, there is his friend, Arber Sejdiu.

Even in women's cases of murder in the past, defence lawyers had sought psychiatric examination for defendants.
