For three months, over 1,000 people gave up Kosovo's citizenship

According to Interior Affairs Ministry data (MPB), for the January-March period of this year, 1,000 and 8 people have renounced citizenship.

“During the January-March 2023 period, 1,019 citizenship freedom decisions have been taken at the State Division: 1,008 v. positive, 11. Negative and 893 requests”, said the report.

According to data, the largest number of Kosovo citizens who have relinquished Kosovo citizenship are from Germany, followed by Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and others.

And this report says that during January, March 2023, in the International Waiting Center for Migrants, a total of 177 migrants from them 167 (94.3%) males and 10 (5.6%) women have been accommodated.
