The KEK union through an announcement has indicated that they had welcomed the board's decision that by the end of April 2023 their demand for salary increases will be considered, but according to them by this date they have not seen any movement from management and board.

At the meeting held by KEK unions on the date 02.05.2023, the decision is made as follows:
We as KEK trade unions welcomed the board's media communiqué given on the date 03.04.23 that by the end of April 2023, our demand for salary increases will be considered. Despite our understanding of waiting until this date, there was no movement from the management and board in that direction even after April.
Despite the enormous pressure of workers for their very reasonable and legitimate salary increases after the last meeting with Mr. Progress Kabashi u.d. The EC and its staff, asking again for time, expect us to have a decision on satisfactory wage increases by 19.05.23.
On the contrary, through this decision, we inform you that we as unions decide to enter the GREVs from 22,05,2023 to meeting the only requirement for salary increases.
