Inspectors ban exposure of electric cigarettes in Kosovo

Among the actions of MINT inspectors is the ban on importing 200 producers of Chinese-born grass from China, because the same have failed to meet the legal security requirements and as such cannot be placed on the market for consumers.
“also, electronic cigarette exposure has been prohibited, management of trade and quality of oil and motor oils, verifying products for meeting standards and safety, etc. During the past week, the Inspectorate has conducted 55 controls of economic operators on the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo. As a result of citizens' credibility in MINT's efficiency, 98 consumer complaints” have been accepted and reviewed, the report said.
Also, with the aim of analyzing the quality of oil products, 30 samples have been taken for testing in accredited labs.
“Verification of the weight of bread and quantity of oil has also been the focus of inspectors, done in co-operation with the Kosovo Metrology Agency that works within the MINT. Inspectors have also continued with regular monitoring of oil products prices at retail stations”, it says further.
The Market Inspectorate has announced it will continue to monitor the market with added intensity and address each of the consumer complaints.
