Between 7:00 and 7:00 in Greece, polling stations will be open for voters to express their will to elect the party seeking the government for the next mandate, while innovation is the number of Albanians running to be part of the Greek parliament.
Full of 7 of them seek the deputy's chair, even though the chances one of them wins are extremely minimal.
Two of the Fatos Malaj and Niko Bilica candidates run for the party PASOK, one in Athens and the other in Thessaloniki. While three other candidates, Adilian Kojaj, Makrina Koci and Angjelos Jaholar, compete with the “Sirisa” in Thessaloniki and Evia.
Sidona Kalthi vies for the Greek Communist Party in Crete and Paty Vardami run in Athens with the initiative “MERCA 25”
The running of Albanians in the Greek parliamentary elections is viewed positively as a sign of their full integration into the public life of the Hellenic country, while there are voices within the immigrants themselves that these candidates are being used to attract Albanian votes towards certain political parties and that nothing will change tomorrow.
Albanians continue to face many challenges with their status stay, deadlines for obtaining documents and health insurance.
The vote's right is held by over 80,000 Albanians across Greece, of whom only 9,000 are in Athens. /Euronews. al
