According to this report, the price index of livestock products has an increase of 16.89 per cent, compared to the same period in 2022, while the price index of plant products has an increase of 6.45 per cent.
Compared to the previous year, the overall index of agricultural products has an increase of 14.28 per cent.

This publication is based on the collection of prices of local agricultural products in Kosovo. Data collection has been made on the market, farms and other sites, where agricultural prices can be collected.
Productions, which provide basis for the price index of agricultural products, are divided into two main groups: Plant and animal products. Within the framework of plant products, prices are collected for these groups: cereals, foraging plants, vegetables, potatoes, and trees. In livestock products, prices are collected for livestock and livestock products. Within livestock, prices accumulate for four categories of animals: cattle, sheep, pigs and chickens. These awards are based on the living weight of animals. In the framework of livestock products, prices are collected for milk, eggs and honey. All prices are estimated at the Euro and the measurement units are in: kilos, liters and pieces.
In the first quarter (TM1) of 2023, the price index of livestock products has an increase of 16.89%, compared to the same period in 2022. In contrast, the price index of plant products has an increase of 6.45%. /Periscopi/
