Elez has indicated that EU officials have voiced opposition to such a decision, as according to him the European Union is firmly committed to allowing this team to carry out its duties.
A poor situation has been created since EU officials have voiced opposition to the departure of the Serb majority association group and the decision of the banned institutions.
The European Union is very determined to allow this team to carry out its tasks, we have seen that this team will return and continue its work.
On December 7th 2022, concerns were raised about the head of this negotiating group, Danijela Vujicic, who had obtained information about the association statute of Serb municipalities in Kosovo.
Together we had raised this concern and after several months we have this information informed us after the decision was made to release this negotiating team”, he said.
