Today election silence in Albania, citizens elect 61 new mayors tomorrow

On Sunday at 7:00 a.m., voters will turn to ballot boxes to elect 61 new mayors, as well as representatives in the Municipal Council.
In these local elections 3,650,550 Albanian citizens have the right to vote, while 122,545 voters vote for the first time.
At 61 municipalities in the country will be open 5,211 polling stations between 7:00 and-2000.
In Kamuz, Vora and Elbasan will be voted electronically, and the outcome in these municipalities is expected to be released a few minutes after the election process is completed, while nearly all polling stations will become electronic voter identification. / TCH/
