Reproductive health rights in Kosovo are protected with law enforcement. But overcoming these rights is turning out to be disturbing about reproductive and sexual health.
Visare Mujko-Niman, leader of the UNFPA Office in Kosovo, has told Radio Kosovo that mainly the figures released from this report are based on the interviews and direct experiences of women and girls who receive these services, but also the medical personnel that offer these services.
“History has been heard on both sides in order to understand the experience of citizens at first hand on the quality of services in the field of reproductive sexual health, but also by the difficulties on the part of health workers facing the delivery of these health services to this article”, Nimani says.
According to the Ombudsman, Naim Qelaj, in Kosovo continued to have inadequate access to sexual and reproductive health. He has stressed that there is still prejudice, up to denial, to debate the issue.
The report's “findings have shown that the situation is disturbing, and it also shows that in some sectors, reproductive and sexual health issues are neglected. Especially in terms of access to awareness, service delivery, as well as treatment without discrimination but also of the level and training or professionality of service offerings that we sometimes lack”, says Celaj.
In terms of reproductive health, the Ombudsman Institute has called on relevant institutions to implement the obligations and responsibilities related to services in reproductive and sexual health.
