He has called for as soon as the implementation of this statement is started in order to reveal the fate of the found by the recent war.
The United Kingdom welcomes President Vuciq's commitment and Prime Minister Kurti to adopt the Declaration of Missing Persons. Families and wider society in Kosovo and Serbia will trust this commitment only if the government implements it. So I call for the quick implementation of a statement based on the needs of families”, Abbott wrote.
“Ves are going through and the grief of the missing family is not extinguished. We have to discuss together, on a human level, to learn about our loved ones. These were the messages I received from my meeting with the young people at the Missing Persons Source Center”, Abbott wrote.
Kosovo and Serbia, on May 2nd, agreed to start searching for the unemployed, where more than 1,600 sosh are counted.
The European Union, which they think is producing results, has also welcomed this agreement.
EU spokesman Peter Stano said dialogue has to do with finding solutions for these people, which, as he initiated, is not small.
And this is also a proof that dialogue is producing results. Maybe not as fast as we'd like, and people affected by this would like to, but there's movement in this direction and that's why we're doing this and why we're doing it. Because in the end dialogue is about finding a solution for people, to solve their situation that is not optimistic, and to give even the perspective for a better future”, Stano said at Thursday's conference.
