Power Thursday morning will be in Kosovo, while Friday will be met by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Meanwhile, today Power is standing for a visit to Serbia, where it has held meetings with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.
But yesterday, by Belgrade, Power, said the main message of President Joe Biden is that the United States of America strongly supports the process of normalising relations between Pristina and Belgrade.
She added that the entire region is of great importance to the US.
“President Beden's main message is how important the normalisation process is and how much we want to support the process, and we are encouraged by the progress that has been made so far”, Power told reporters at a sports event in Belgrade.
Responding to the question of how it was AID could influence the normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, she said they are aware there are too many scepticism for finding a solution.
However, she explained that normalising relations brings priority for both states, writes Reporter.net.
This visit comes at a time when US and European leaders are working to stabilise relations between the two countries, with an agreement recently reached in Ohrid.
Power becomes the first senior American government official to travel to the region since the European Union brokered a meeting between the leaders of the two governments last week in Brussels.
