Today, nine years are filled by self - rule PDK- The AKR, as well as the division of the Kosovo Assembly.
Coalition The PDK-AKR had collapsed at the initiative of then Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, but not with the consent of AKR chairman Behgjet Pacolli. These two, along with opposition LDK leader Isa Mustafa, had decided to disperse even the Parliament after meetings with then-President Atifete Jahjaga.
With 90 votes against 4 and 3 abstentions, Kosovo's Assembly had decided on May 7th 2014 to disperse itself.
With that decision, the Assembly had decided to lead Kosovo to early parliamentary elections, which were held on June 8, 2014.
The motion was established by a group of 57 MPs under the agreement between PDK and LDK leaders for the distribution of the Assembly.
The reasoning was presented by the deputy The PDK, Arsim Bajrami, who had said that by this decision, the Assembly had opened legal procedures for announcing the election date.
The MP's initiative was then supported by PDK parliamentary groups, the LDK, as those of the AAK had introduced different positions. /Kosovo pres/
