Rama: Major disagreements with Serbia we have when talking about Kosovo

Prime Minister Edi Rama said the biggest disagreements between Albania and Serbia are when it comes to Kosovo. As he mentioned the meeting he had several days ago with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti. Rama said he was more open and more constructive than he was as he delivered the message to leave the past behind to achieve normalisation of relations.
If we didn't keep talking to each other and stay at the barricades in the past, we could have been in a very bad position today with all the crises that have just emerged at Europe's borders. Of course, we have a big difference or a very big distance when it comes to what you call Kosovo and Metohia and I call Kosovo. That's a reason to talk more.
The normalisation process is also in another position today. I firmly believe that even though everyone can get credit, I think they go to the citizens of this region and the need not to bring people to the edge of another abyss. I met Kurt a few days ago and he's more open and constructive than before.
I told him and reiterated that we must promote and make sure that how association and religious aspect of dialogue are guaranteed 100% for Serb citizens in Kosovo who are minority and should be seen as the bridge of the future, not a problem among all of us in the future. These are no longer taboo and I told him he has our full support to move forward and leave behind the past. We're here for our producers who are much more than a product, it's a country's emir. We're with them to open the doors of one of the biggest fairs.
I would like to do more, and as Dimitri said, we want to do more with the bread and wine fair, children, art and culture, and all be included. The Summer Fair is for all producers, and if producers from France, Italy or Australia, then why are producers from Kosovo, Montenegro and Bosnia not? We have to walk in this direction and believe that with all the problems we've had to deal with and they're not patriots that to love their country, you have to hate and burn someone else, we're in the best position to be.
I am very happy to have the US and the EU credit for the Berlin process”, Rama said.
