Haradinaj publishes the figures: Government Kurti is cheating and promoting economic situation

There are few cases when in times of crisis, economic, social, and health, the state exceeds the amount of money, or even collect even the first revenues for its budget.

So for example, the government has seen it spend about 3 billion and 159 million euros for 2022, but it has spent only 2 billion and 625 million. So they've exceeded less than 533 million euros, much of it in capital investments.

With the 2022 budget, 698m euros were earmarked for capital investments and 422m euros were realised. That means 280 million less. For two years this government has remained untapped by 478 million, only capital investments. That means it's under-invested, less worked, less earned. It's all less than the citizen's being poorer.

These 478 million taxpayers have not been returned to them, but have been preserved in the government's <x0 financial bunker” and at the worst of times, not only because of the social economic crisis, but also the inflation that has reached almost 20 per cent.

To be even worse, out of these 422 million capital investments, some 24 million are the unprofitable penalty fees, 88 million advantages for jobs that have not even started, 16 million for maintenance, 17 for administrative buildings and so on... So about half of this amount -- about 210 million -- of capital investments, is like they didn't happen at all because they didn't have any effect on economic development.

There have been terrible propaganda in the field of employment. One said that they were employed by over 20,000 people and the other was over...

But the facts speak differently!

With the Law on Budget 2022, it was envisioned that in the public sector, 87 thousand and 311 employed, while for this year there were 7225 fewer people than budget permits. This means that this government has not implemented the employment plan as much as the previous budget allowed.

These even had the salary fund for 8m euros less than in 2020. But this is nominal, because if we calculate it to the price hikes and inflation for 2021 and 2022, it turns out that employees in the public sector for 2022 have been paid less than 100 million in real value.

The government, except that it has not spent as much as it has had budgeted and as much as it has previously envisioned, has also noted failures in budget collection. Thus, from the first budget revenues of 2022, 382 million less has been accomplished in many over 3 billion euros.

It is incomprehensible how this mathematics has been done to the government because compared with the previous year, imports for 2022 have increased by nearly one billion, while exports of some 165 million. In all, the trade deficit has marked an increase of 790 million. This means more taxes have been collected, but the budget is short of 382 million. That requires explanation!

In these government budgetary mathematics, there is another abnormality. While goods that have entered Kosovo have scored growth for 20%, customs revenues have only increased for 6.4 %, or excise for only 3.2 %. That means either customs control has dropped or smuggling has increased at the border and organised crime.

There have been some increases in this government.

Spending in the category of goods and services has increased by 280 million in 2021 to 333 million in 2022; Travel expenses abroad of 3 million 182 thousand euros as it was in 2020 increased to 8 million 185 thousand in 2022; Travels within the country have also increased, from 1 million and 73 thousand euros for 2020 to 2.199 thousand; Fuels for official cars from 6 million and 613 thousand in 2020 have increased to 11m and 342 thousand euros in 2022. And official lunches too.
