That's all the percentage of the Energy Regulatory Office predicts to freeze, based on reports of Max's license.
“Based on reports of allowed Maksimal access are expected to raise around 15%, however the exact value of growth will be known following the application of the target parties”, the ZRE's response to “Front Online” says.
However, the final decision will be known after the tariff parties' application, as it is expected on Thursday, when the board of this institution will also convene.
From ZRRE they told “Front” that so far they have received comments from seven institutions.
A) The Office of the President of Kosovo,
The prime minister's office,
c) COSTS,
d) KEDS,
e) KESCO,
f) KEK and
g) The Union of KEDS and KESCO workers.
Of all these institutions is the only presidency that has been flatly expressed against energy growth.
“The ZPRK recommends that in this extraordinary tax review, the possibilities for avoidance of raising tariffs by encouraging inter-institute communication and co-ordination with the aim of ensuring the subsidisation of additional costs that have contributed to increased difficulties for regulated operators”, the Presidency's comment said.
The government, meanwhile, has demanded that household tariffs and consumers remain the same and potential growth affects businesses, separately large ones.
KEDS had proposed growth of about 50 per cent of the electricity price. KEK has demanded that the energy price it sells to KEDS be raised for three euros for one megawatt. Out of 29.5 euros as it currently is, in comments it has submitted to the ZRRE, under the fee, it has demanded that the price be 32.4 euros for one megawatt.
Energy price growth, Kurti says it doesn't interfere with ZRE's work
The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, has said on Tuesday that they will not intervene in the work of the Energy Regulatory Office, while on April 1st it will expensive the electricity for 15 per cent.
However, Kurti said it would ease the price burden on citizens.
The “line ministers have communicated and agreed and given their recommendations to the ZRE in co-operation with KEK in terms of the energy sector, and in particular in terms of electricity prices”.
What I pledge is that on the one hand we will not interfere with the work of independent institutions on the spin, and we will make it easier for citizens to bear the price and energy security of” said Kurti.
