Vuciq: Serbia to work in implementing everything it has said, not about recognition of Kosovo

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, says his position has not changed and that in Ohrid he has repeated what he said in the Parliament as well as in Brussels. As he noted, Serbia has never used any tricks and will work on implementing everything it has said. Vuciq says [...]

Vuciq says something will be legally binding for Serbia only when something is signed and that no one else can produce legal consequences for Serbia except its president.

Serbia has never used any tricks, unlike others. What I said in Parliament, in Brussels, in Ohrid, in Belgrade, I repeat every day and my attitude has not changed a single point. It's legally binding for Serbia when I put a signature or a seal on something or when I'm literally okay with it orally. “No one else can produce legal consequences for the Republic of Serbia except its president, and in some cases Prime Minister or Minister of Foreign Affairs”, Vuciq said.

He added that Serbia will meet and work on implementing everything it has said, despite the fact that it does not think Kosovo will fulfill what is its only obligation, the formation of the Serb majority municipalities.

Everything we said we would do, we will. It is not about UN membership or recognition, while the rest concerning normalisation of relations, Serbia is willing to meet it. Serbia has its word and that means something. Of course, it's not easy for me to take the most irresponsible boys in our country, the most disabled, who have destroyed our country, but I'll leave it for another time. They will get the right political response”, Vuciq said.
