Lana Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister for Political Affairs, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the UN, praised the implementation agreement, stressing that it represents an important step towards strengthening regional and international peace and security, Kosovo broadcasts.
In this direction, she stressed support for the United Arab Emirates for international law, particularly respect for state sovereignty, non-interference in internal affairs and peaceful resolution of disputes.
In turn, it praised the European Union's role in facilitating the implementation agreement, underlining the readiness of the United Arab Emirates to support this EU-backed process. Its excellence also stressed the importance of joint efforts to advance diplomacy and dialogue.
Nusseibeh noted that the United Arab Emirates enjoy entrenched relations with Serbia and Kosovo, and that he is eager to strengthen co-operation for achieving common interests.
The United Arab Emirates, Her Honory stated, affirms its aspirations for the agreement to succeed, thereby contributing to regional stability and increasing prosperity and development for the people of Serbia, Kosovo and all nations of the Western Balkans.
