The theft of 400,000 euros in Ferizaj, suspect arrested

Police report that by the 1803.23 about 0400 o'clock in a residential house in the village of Ferizaj, unknown persons had infiltrated by force, and from there allegedly stolen money worth 40 thousand euros, gold worth of 25 thousand euros, two firearms (pistolet) with permission and quantities of ammunition.

After that, the Regional Investigation Sector from the Ferizaj Regional Police Directorate, under the authorisation of the prosecutor from the Founding Prosecutor at Ferizaj, had taken all necessary actions and launched investigations.

Police report that regional investigators have managed to obtain enough evidence after an intensive job, an intensification of information on the ground, a vision of security cameras, and last night around 19:30 have arrested suspect S.I (M/K), aged 49, who allegedly committed serious theft.

After the interview, the suspect has been detained for 48 hours.

The suspect S.I has been escorted to Ferizaj Regional Investigation Sector and after his interview, in the presence of the defence attorney, with the prosecutor's decision to hold the case for 48 hours, for further investigation procedures”, the report said.
