Tension between Russia and Western countries is not only limited to the Ukrainian battlefield but also played deep in the Mediterranean Sea.
For months analysts have been looking at the increasingly frequent and provocative maneuvers of Russian ships in the Mediterranean, but in recent hours the situation is becoming more tense, so that Italy has launched its P-72 aircraft to monitor the situation from above.
There are two Moscow ships in an area between Calabria and Corfu, a few miles from our shores. One came from the Atlantic Ocean, and it's about the Kola ship, the other is a rocket launcher that was located at Tartous' Russian base in Syria.
According to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, analysts say ships are probably following closely the American carrier John Bush, which is located right now in the Adriatic waters between the shores of Poulias in Italy and Albania.
A little further down, in the vicinity of Sicily, two other Moscow ships have been spinning for weeks, one of which is the Admiral Casatanov, among the most modern of the Russian fleet.
A few months ago, a similar episode occurred right in the area where the gas pipeline passes TAP, passing through our country and bypassing Russia.
