Report DAS, LDK: Martin Berisha's case confirms corruption

He has cited the case of Ambassador Martin Berisha, for whom, as he has indicated, government corruption and impunity for corruption within government institutions.

US “Institutions in their annual report on the state of human rights in Kosovo, reported yesterday that the chronic status of corruption in Kosovo is still continuing. With this government, nothing has changed in the area of corruption. This report has two very important findings in terms of corruption and domestic violence and violence against women. The US State Department report finds there is serious corruption in the government institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. The report also finds there is a lack of punitive punishment for those corrupt within government institutions. Let's not forget that the government's main promise has been to undo corruption in Kosovo institutions, however, the report of American friends proves an opposite situation from this pledge”, Tahiri told Kosovas.

According to him, there is domestic and female violence in the alarming report. Tahiri has added that the government in this respect has failed to address this problem and provide adequate protection against women.
