Erdogan thanked Putin for his positive “position” in extending the Black Sea grain deal, Reuters writes, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
Erdogan reportedly expressed his understanding of the Russian side's principled position to achieve full implementation of the second part of the deal, removing barriers to Russia's agricultural products.
Russia outlined conditions Monday to agree on any further extension of the Black Sea grain deal, and Putin said Moscow could send free wheat to African countries if these conditions were not met.
“Putin and Ergodan expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics of trade and economic relations, the successful implementation of joint strategic projects in the energy sector, including gas supply and construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant in Turkey”, the Kremlin statement said.
