The chief of the so-called Office for Kosovo, Petar Petkovovic, has reacted to Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi's statements, who said Serbia is committed to recognising Kosovo.
Petkovic stressed that Bislimi is misinterpreting Belgrade's readiness for dialogue as Serbia's readiness to recognise Kosovo.

“Belgrade is committed to normalising relations with Pristina and creating a stable environment for economic development throughout the region, but will never recognise Kosovo and its unilateral and illegal declaration. And it will never be reconciled to its UN membership”, Petkovic said.

According to him, Bislim is trying to use lies to promote changing the stance of countries that do not recognise Kosovo.

He has also spoken about association.

Petar Petkovic said the only concern loyal Bislim has to be his formation.

The fact that, seeking a change in the attitude of some non-recognitional states, Kurt and Bislim are misusing dialogue for normalising relations to further destabilise the region, but also to show how malicious and insincere goals are”, Petkovic said.
