Parliament will go on vacation next week for the Easter holiday.
Israel is involved in mass protests after Netanyah fired Defence Minister Yoav Gallant.
He was dismissed after speaking out against the Israeli government's controversial plans to change the judicial system.
In Jerusalem, police and soldiers have used water cannons against protesters near Netanyah's home.
Monday morning, Israeli President Isaac Herzeg has called on the government to stop reforms.
“For the sake of the unity of the people of Israel, for the sake of responsibility, I urge you to halt immediately the legislative process”, he has said on Twitter, adding that the “s of all Israelites are in your”.
The United States has said they are deeply concerned about these developments and have called for compromise.
Reforms include plans for the Israeli government to have control of the committee that appoints judges.
Something like that makes it difficult for the courts to remove a leader who is deemed inadequate for power.
Some believe that such a change fits Netanyah, as he is only facing trial for corruption.
While the Israeli prime minister has said the reforms are designed to prevent the courts from having a full power and that these changes have been voted by the public in the last elections.
