On March 29th, I will complete the mandate of Kosovo Central Bank Governor Fehmi Mehmeti. The same has competed again for this position but has failed to be part of the selected” list.
For the assessment of Governor Mehmeti, the Board Commission has requested additional clarification.
Members of this commission say there have been delays in getting information about this process.
With criticism, the process of electing the new governor has also been conveyed by civil society.
RTK has also contacted the chairman of the BEC Board, the Nrbajan Union, who said they are awaiting the Kosovo Assembly decision.
