Albert Prenkaj has been suspended from the US Department of America's position of director. Pristina's Constitutional Court, on March 20th, has been approved as based on Alber Prenka's request against the Independent Council of Kosovo Civil Service Monitor.
US Department Director Albert Prenkaj has been suspended from working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore decision (MPJD).
He has been suspended from work until making a final decision on the part of the disciplinary Commission.
By then, Prenkajt will be barred from accessing the MPJD object, and any other action that could be “violated/damage evidence” according to the subject initiated against it.
The decision to suspend him has been made against the Pristina Constitutional Court, on March 20th, approved by Alber Prenka's request against the Independent Council of Kosovo Civil Service Supervisor.
Also, according to the decision, the Kosovo Civil Service Independent Supervisor Council's decision has been cancelled, and, under the decision, the issue must be brought back to review and reinstatement.

The MPJD's reasoning is said to have reason to believe that continuing to exercise Prenkaj's duty would hinder the disciplinary investigation and verify the facts against him.
“Direct Director/Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora by 28.03.2023 has initiated the disciplinary procedure against Mr. Albert Prenkaj, director of the Department for America. The Disciplinary Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora estimates that Mr. Prenkaj, whose disciplinary procedure is carried out, prevents the disciplinary investigation and violates the proper exercise of his duty, and has reason to believe that continuing to exercise office by civil servant Mr. Prenkaj, against which the disciplinary procedure has begun preventing disciplinary investigation and verification of facts, as well as may violate the proper exercise of the commission's office, so imposed the suspension of civil servants Z. Touch, until the final decision is made. The commission decided as in the framework of that decision”, the decision said.

Prenkaj has the right to file a complaint to the Independent Council for the Civil Service of Kosovo in the 30-day term. /Rtv Dukajini
