The announcement reportedly ruled on the appointment of the detention measure, Judge Raima Elez received the preliminary procedure.

Under the decision, suspects in detention will be counted from the time of arrest (March 21st 2023) and may last until April 2023.

The court, in case of the detention measure against the defendants, has estimated that there are legal reasons for the appointment of the detention measure, and from the evidence collected until this stage, comes a given suspicion: The defendant J.B., during November/November/Vortor of 2022, in the Suhareka municipality, deliberately forces the victim under 16 (16) years to commit the sexual act, which he knows is sensitive to the age of”, says the report.

In terms of whether these facts will be argued, the following stages of criminal procedure will be assessed.

With the case of the detention appointment, the Court has taken into account the fact that investigations into this criminal case have just begun, and given the burden of criminal acts, with the release of the defendant to freedom, there is a potential danger that the same could be avoided in order to avoid criminal responsibility. From tops, the Court has concluded that there is reason for the detention assignment, taking into account the manner and circumstances of committing criminal acts, since the injured person is under 16 (16) years of age, and the defendant allegedly having committed the criminal act of rape, by these circumstances and by the burden of criminal acts, is a conclusion of the Court that the appointment of detention at this stage is necessary and reasonable”, the report states.
