Not even the second time it was put to the polls has the bill proposed by Health Minister Arben Vitita passed.
It's the Project on Reproductive Health and Associated Fertilizer, which the Kosovo Assembly did not have quorum.
That, as 10 power deputies abstained the same bill. However, 43 MPs were in favour of this bill.
Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca indicated that only 53 MPs participated in that vote and the same was held to the next plenary session.
“I am considering a result that is final, so this bill is delivered to the new session”, he said at the session.
One of LVV's deputies, Eman Mthman, was opposed to this bill.
Mrtman has asked Minister Vitita to withdraw the bill and change it.
I, since I don't come from this area and I don't want to go deep and discuss content in general, but basically I think this bill proposed by the minister is supposed to be revised because it violates the family, whose values I protect, in one of the articles in which the fertilization right is given to unmarried women. So I won't personally participate in the vote. Thus, I had asked the minister to withdraw this bill”, Candorman said.
