Lajcak shows what the consequences can be for hindering the agreement

EU Special Representative for the Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak said that if the agreement on normalising Kosovo relations is not reached Serbia, for the party or the stumbling parties means they are ignoring the fact that it is closely associated with their European journey. And this way, this means [...]
And this way, this means that either the side or the parties are not ready for normalisation, that means they ignore the fact that this is closely connected with their European journey and then EU member states would reach their conclusions because the decision to react negatively is in the hands of member states and the United States, and not the mediators, but I don't want to elaborate on the negative <x2th>, Lajcak said, in an interview for “Context<> in ATV.
He said that given the high international attention this process has received, an obstacle to reaching the agreement would deliver a very negative message to countries that have supported the process.
And the dispute may be a consequence of two things: first that we have worked hard and constructively, but we need more time and in this case we will continue to work without delay, or we haven't reached agreement because one side or both sides have not had the will to reach agreement and are hindering the process, and that would be a very negative message, especially when it comes to the attention that this process has received and support, which I honestly don't remember having such support or unity for any process that I have been part of or a witness of my business, Lajcak said.
He said he hopes they will make good progress at the March 18th meeting in Ohrid.
