Kurti visits former political prisoners' association at 42nd anniversary of 1981 demonstrations

He was welcomed by the head of the association, Shefek Sadiku and members of the association's leadership.

“In this anniversary of demonstrations marking the beginning of a process that led to the breakup of Yugoslavia until the country's liberation, they remembered and recalled the events and the path they conveyed”.

The 1981 “Demonstrates, which began as the student spontaneous protests for dignified conditions and equal treatment, soon received support from workers and all the people, who together sought freedom, justice, rights, Republic of Vetevendosje”.

“Forca, the courage and organisation of students, youth and that world workers in the face of violent oppression and systematic injustice are the example of the awareness that should be followed every day and commemorated by” annually, Kurti stressed.
