Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has paid a working visit to Tirana, where he met with Albanian state leaders, as well as with former president Ilir Meta.

After these meetings, he has told reporters that Albanian politicians have told them details about the Ohrid Agreement.

Moreover, Kurti has indicated as he claims Kosovo's democratic and economic success.

I have met with the leaders of the institutions of the Republic of Albania today. A working visit to Tirana, I started with President Bajram Begaj, to continue with Republika Parliament Speaker Lindita Nikolla. Then a working lunch with Prime Minister Edi Rama and former President Meta. During these meetings I emphasized two main things. The first is the success and economic progress of Kosovo in our two years of governance, which is unprecedented progress in independent Kosovo. On the other hand, I informed them of the details of the content of the agreements that we first implemented in Brussels and then the application annex in Ohrid for normalising relations with Kosovo and Serbia. I wanted to inform them about the near and in detail with the dialogue process, but also with the components of the agreement that must already be realised”, Kurti stated.

Kurti's visit to Tirana comes a week after he reached agreement in Ohrid with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, on implementing the European plan.

But there is no signing in that agreement, however, the European Union for Security and Foreign Policy's high representative, had declared after the meeting that “tam has an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia”.
