Prime Minister Kurti at the school “Elena Gjika” on Monday has expressed pride that in Kosovo it is this tradition of Polyglot, where students are allowed to learn their native language.
“We are proud of this tradition of multilingualism in our country for children to learn in their native language. The education strategy 2022/26 includes continued subsidies for the design, translation and adaptation of textbooks and other materials in Turkish language, but also other non-most communities living here”, Kurti said.
Kurt pointed out in front of students and teachers of this school that the best education is in the mother tongue.
Before learning each other's languages, we need to be confident in our own language, and the best education is the one in our mother tongue. Together we are celebrating the fact that in Kosovo there are these opportunities for education in the mother tongue that inspire children for learning more”, Kurti added.
