The first government said the Base Agreement between Kosovo and Serbia represents an important step in regulating foreign, international relations between the two independent states.
Prime Minister Kurti said it is based on the principle of sovereign equality, respect for territorial integrity, independence, give up obstacles to our Republic's membership in international organisations, exchange of diplomatic missions through ambassadors of almighty rank, recognition of state symbols, passports, and so on. Kurti also said the agreement paves the way for our Republic for membership in many international organisations, with importance through accepting the legal capacity to join NATO and signing a Partnership for Peace with NATO.
The prime minister again stated that Zayednica is not transferred to the prime minister, even though the same has been passed to parliament.
He added that Serbia has failed to impose implementation of Zayednica as preconditions.
I haven't completely changed for the worse, but I strongly believe you've changed for the better. So I haven't completely changed for the worse, but you've definitely changed for the better. In all, here I've already experienced the attacks I've already mentioned to some deputies: Blerta Deliu-Codra, Arben Gashi, Andmend Zemaj, Anton Chun, Ferat Shala, these on June 27th 2013 have voted the Zajednica. I'm sorry, Sala Berisha-Shala. Sorry, Mayor. It's the deputies who voted for Zajednica on June 27, 2013, but now they criticize me because they've changed dramatically. I haven't changed completely”, Kurty declared.
Kurti added that the concept, the purpose of meaning, has not changed, but the strategy has.
I haven't changed, but your eyes. You're looking different now, you're looking different. And here we have an undeniable contribution. The direct consequence of Vetevendosje Movement is the change of your eyes”, he said at the night session.
Responding to the replications of opposition MPs, the prime minister said dialogue is the first priority.
“log not one priority. The deal is very important, but dialogue number 1. Kurrog does not help dialogue rather than strengthen the country”, Kurti said among other things.
