According to Krasniqi, the Constitutional Court declared Kurti's bid to bring him under control and violate the integrity of the KKP.
“The constitution, as the basis of the principles of justice, can't and will never allow to be violated by the usurping claims of power”, Krasniqi wrote.
On the other hand, he said that as in this case, The PDK will reject any government initiative aimed at, according to him, submitting the right to the dictatorship of a human and authoritarian purposes of power.
Kosovo's Constitutional Court has decided to declare the Law for the Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo invalid, following a request to assess the constitutionality of this law by MPs from the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Democratic League of Kosovo last year.
According to a media report Friday, this court has indicated that, following the assessment of the law based on the demands of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Democratic League of Kosovo, some provisions of this law have been assessed in disagreement with the Kosovo Constitution.
With amendments to the Law on the KKP changed the way the Prosecutorial Council functions, but also the composition of this council.
The parties that had submitted the motion had also complained that changing the composition reduces the proportion between the members of prosecutors and non-profession members, and, according to claims, the decision of an independent constitutional institution would be subject to the majority's political will in the Assembly, which would elect nonprosecutor members of the Council.
In the controversial Law, the KKP was scheduled to consist of seven members, including the chief prosecutor, and three members of prosecutors selected from the prosecutorial system and three non-prosecutors. In the past, the KKP consisted of nine members of prosecutors elected by the prosecutorial system and three non-professional members elected by the Parliament, according to proposals from the Oda of Lawyers and Uldicates and public competition. /Periksopi/
