Krasniqi: From central recognition, dialogue degraded with Association in the centre

Chairman The PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has said the presence of Prime Minister Kurti is necessary in the Assembly to debate the agreement reached in Brussels. He said today is the fourth day since the prime minister has declared that he accepts the agreement based on the European proposal, and that everywhere in Kosovo, there is a discussion of this agreement without having clear knowledge of what has been accepted.

And this agreement is also being discussed on the eventual consequences that this agreement brings in the absence of a clarity at each point that has already been made public and official. A responsible politician would have come on his own without motion, at his request, to address the Assembly and all the people to announce it with the document and every point. Kosovo's prime minister is not here today either. I don't understand what more important work the prime minister has today than to come to the Assembly for the agreement he has declared to be signing with Serbia without even getting the authorization of this Assembly”.

Krasniqi has also mentioned articles and agreements, which he criticised.

Article 10 which without mutual recognition accepts Association. Article 7 enables the creation of an autonomy system for Kosovo Serbs, and not to talk about Article 11 that opens up many questions to”.

Krasniqi said that agreement could enter into force without ratification in the Parliament.

“From the state's goal of a final agreement with mutual recognition in the centre, this process has degraded into an interim agreement with association in the centre”.

Krasniqi said we support the debate requirement in the Parliament on this topic.
