Israeli Ambassador to Kosovo: We are committed to opening new chapters of cooperation

A good conversation took place between the presidents of the state of Israel and the Republic of Kosovo, dedicated to increasing our co-operation and opening new chapters of bilateral co-operation”, it has written on Twitter.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has been holding a conversation yesterday with Israeli State President Isaac Herzeog as part of continued communication with friendly states counterparts.

In this telephone conversation between the heads of state of the Republic of Kosovo and the state of Israel, the two leaders have talked about bilateral reports between the two states and the possibility of deepening them, a media communique said.

Osmani and Herzeg discussed the potential for boosting co-operation in the field of defence, cultural heritage and innovation, while praising the growing partnership between the two countries. In this direction, President Osmani stressed the importance of deepening diplomatic co-operation to support Kosovo's membership in international organisations.

Furthermore, Herzeg warmly thanked President Osmani for Kosovo's support of Israel, and invited President Osmani to visit Israel. He also took advantage of the occasion to congratulate Muslim believers in Ramadan, Easter Day Christian believers, as well as the holiday of “Passover”, Jewish believers.
