Hoti: Extinction point rejected over four times, declaration to sign the following days

The head of the Government Commission for Missing Persons, Andy Hoti, who was part of the Kosovo delegation at Saturday's meeting in Ohrid, said that despite the Kosovo side's insistence on the annex being included at this point the 12-month deadline to get epilogue the issue of missing persons has again been rejected.

He expects the Declaration of Missing Persons between the Kosovo and Serbian parties to be signed in the coming days.
Hoti said that at the March 18th meeting over four times the issue of missing persons from the annex, but with the insistence of the Kosovo side -- the EU's charge on dialogue -- Miroslav Lajcak has imposed it as an urgent matter.

Andy Hoti, who even 24 years after the end of the war, knows nothing about his missing father's fate, does not believe Serbia to implement this point of complaint, but expects the European Union as guarantors to condition the Serbian state on the issue of missing persons to co-operate with Kosovo.

He argued that if the EU is serious there will be great progress on the issue of missing persons.

The head of the Government Commission for Missing Persons hopes that the Declaration of Persons Missing with EU Pressure will be signed in the coming days between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksander Vuciq.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti hosted the accredited ambassadors in Kosovo today.
