Germany: Without Association, no agreement is possible

For these developments, the German Embassy in Pristina has said the emphasis is on the issue of Association.
According to them, “without association is not possible agreement”, as a result, called for Kurti's readiness to start talks with the Serbian side.
“ ...it was important that both sides came to Brussels on Monday and agreed in principle to the proposal. We call on both sides to actively engage in the further process. This includes respecting their clear commitments to all aspects of the proposal, including those related to international organisations. On the other hand, Kosovo must now show readiness to start concrete negotiations for the ESM. Because without him a deal won't be possible“, says their response to Insider.
Once again the German Embassy stressed that they support the European Union-led dialogue.
“Both sides engaged in the German-French proposal. The German government strongly supports EU-led dialogue and EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak's efforts. The proposal provides the opportunity to take a major step forward and achieve a comprehensive normalisation of relations. This chance must now be used by the” parties, the answer follows.
The upcoming meeting of Kosovo and Serbian leaders within the dialogue will be held on March 18th in Ohrid.
