Gashi: PDK is winning all chance to halt Kurti's authoritarian powers

Following the defeat the Government of Kosovo suffered from the collapse of the Law for the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Democratic Party of Kosovo official Ilir Gashi says optimistic that the party it belongs to will be triumphantly excited at other issues for which they have sent them to [...]

“After chance victory for; The Prosecution and KPC, in the Constitutional, also hosted victories for; 1) The Political Bureau of Confiscating Property with political decisions. 2) For public officials. 3) For energy”, he wrote on Facebook.

“The PDK, obedient to justice, is winning all cases to halt Kurti's authoritarian powers”, he concluded.

We remember that the Constitutional Court totaled the Law for the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council as invalid, which aroused deep indignation at Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu, who also indicated that the JGK was biased by putting the “interest of some KPK members ahead of general interest”.

It is not the first time that this government violates the country's highest judicial act and complains to its decisions if they clash with their worldview, unless the rulings come in favour like the one for the Association of Serb majority municipalities in which they are repeatedly called or opinion on the legality of the former government Hoti, which they had applauded.
