Major protests have erupted in Israel in recent days. For what are you protesting, and how dangerous is the stability of this country?

Major crowds filled the streets of the Israeli town of Tel Aviv on Sunday evening after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a decision. Large crowds had been on the streets before, in some of the biggest protests long ago, but they returned.

Netanyah had decided to dismiss his interior minister following opposition to a different decision on the planned control of the judicial system.

With Israel flags on hands and cheering “ocracy” (democratia)The protesters were watching until roads and bridges were blocked, reports Reuters, a past Nacional.

Protesters also lit many fires on the main highway of Tel Aviv. The protest continued after midnight, although until 2 o'clock, the crowds began to cry out.

Israel was only in political crisis. However, Minister Yoav Gallant's statement to have a pause in contracting plans for control of the judicial system rekindled even more anger.

Many Israeli Army militias have already pledged to leave the service as opposition to these plans against the judiciary, which critics say would undermine the system's independence.

Israeli President Isaac Herzeg also called on Prime Minister Netanyah to immediately pause his plans, saying The global “objectives are yours. ”

What are these plans?

Protests in Israel have begun for months now. Many critics claim the reforms he claims to make Netanyah in the judicial system will violate the country's democratic foundations, Reuters reports.

In essence, the control over the judiciary will provide the Israeli parliament, dubbed the Knesset ʹ and with this case even the ruling parties more control over Israel's judiciary.

These plans would effectively determine how judges would be elected, what laws the Supreme Court could decide, and even power the Parliament to reverse the rulings of the Supreme Court.
